Travelling to the Airport
We advise clients to allow extra travelling time than expected to arrive for the normal 2 hour (3 hours long haul) check-in prior to flight departure. Kingsway Travel will not take any responsibility for clients missing their flight due to unexpected delays en-route to the airport.
Waiting Time and Change of Destination
We do not charge for the first hour waiting time after the plane has landed. However if the client is held up in immigration or lost luggage, we would have to charge waiting at £20/hr. Pro rata. Any change to the destination / extra pick-ups or drop offs will also attract extra charges.
Midnight – 4:00 am Surcharge
Additional £10.00 surcharge will be added to transfers carried out within the above hours.
Returning / Meet & Greet / Parking Charges
Please provide mobile contact number at time of booking and remember to switch off flight mode when landed. Drivers will text to confirm that He/She have arrived at the airport.
The driver will track the flight using the official Airport / Airline App and enter the arrivals hall 30 minutes after the aircraft has landed. He/She will then wait an additional 30 minutes inclusive of parking charges. After which time, parking charges will apply over and above the first 30 minutes official Airport Tariff. The driver will wait at the exit of the customs hall holding a sign bearing the client or the company’s name.
To avoid any additional parking charges, the client may contact the driver when they have collected their luggage. At that time, the driver will then enter the car park and proceed to the arrivals hall. Alternatively the driver will meet the client at a pre-arranged pick up point.
